Daniel is a young orphan of a small island in the Gulf of Nicoya who leaves  to start a journey in search of his godfather and opportunities. He arrives at a hotel in Puntarenas, a port where his mother once worked. During his trip, he discovers elements of its past that link him deeply to the hotel´s fate and also to the possibility of changing him.
